Google Adsense is a bit of code that you can place on your website that shows advertisements for companies. In exchange for showing the advertisements, Google will pay you a portion of the advertising cost. Every time you hit at least $100, Google will send you a check.

In order to generate an income with Google Adsense, you must first have a website. Once you have a website, you can open a Google Adsense account and produce the coding for your advertisements that you a willing to display on your website. Adsense offers 3 different variations of advertisements. Text links, plain links, and picture or video links. 

No matter which of the Google Adsense forms you decide to use, the advertisements will show listings based on the content of your website, blog, etc.. Google Adsense is easy to use and configure, it's just a matter deciding on which variation will work best for you!

Here are a few simple hints to help earn you some revenue with Google Adsense:

• Always configure your Google Adsense advertisements to have the same appearance of your website, blog, etc.. What this means is you need to select the same color back round, font, color font, etc.. Inside the Google Adsense admin area, you will be able to select these options. You want everything to flow together, you don't want to have an advertisement with a yellow backround if your website or blog back round is black.

• Select different formats of advertisements when using Google Adsense. They give you different variations for a reason, be different. You can choose advertisements with or without description, Vertical or Horizontal, 4 advo's or 5 advo's, etc..

• Test - Test - Test. When you place Google Adsense advertisements on your website or blog, set up a tracking code for each advertisement. By doing this, you will be able to look at the result and see which advo is performing best.
